On November 23, 2023, the Consul General of Singapore in Xiamen, Mr. CHNG Tza Chia, visited Nanchang International School (NCIS) and was accompanied by Ms. Qi Wen, Assistant to the Consul General. Mr. Chen Tian, Chairman of WES Group, Ms. Li Yan, Vice President of WES Group, Mr. Zhao Mingxi, Principal of Nanchang International School, and Mr. Luis Hernandes, Vice Principal of Nanchang International School welcomed the guests.

Mr. Chen Tian welcomed Mr. CHNG Tza Chia and his entourage, and Ms. Li Yan introduced the development history and future of WES Group and Nanchang International School (NCIS). During the exchange between the two sides, the Consul General learned more about the achievements of NCIS, as well as the details of exchanges and cooperation with Singaporean schools and enterprises.

Afterward, led by Vice Principal Mr. Luis, the Consul General visited the school campus, classrooms, library, cafeteria, hall, and the rest of the school facilities, and gained an in-depth understanding of the school’s operation and achievements.

Vice Principal Mr. Luis introduced the school’s curriculum system, teaching characteristics, student activities, and faculty.

Mr. CHNG Tza Chia highly affirmed the school’s education concept, achievements, and the contribution made in promoting cooperation between Jiangxi and Singapore. He pointed out that Nanchang International School is not only a business card for Nanchang’s foreign investment promotion, but also a business card for deepening the cooperation and exchange between Singapore and Jiangxi, and said that he would provide more support for the school, and also looked forward to the future of WES Group and Nanchang International School to have more exchanges and interactions with Singapore in the aspects of curricula, teachers’ training, students’ mutual visits and the introduction of excellent international teachers, and to make more contributions for the in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China and Singapore.
